Spring 2025 Registration now OPEN!
Overview
Our boys and girls spring lacrosse programs give players an opportunity to develop and compete at any level. Whether you’ve never picked up a stick before – or are looking to compete at the highest level, we are committed to providing players with an opportunity to:
1) develop and improve
2) compete in an appropriate environment

Our League
San Rafael Lacrosse Club is proud to be a member of the West Bay Lacrosse League (WBLL) & Marin League.
Marin League
- Teams include U8 Boys & Girls, U10 Girls, and U10 B Boys
- Consists of only local Marin teams, including Southern Marin, Ross Valley, and Novato. Additional opportunities to schedule non-league games throughout the season
WBLL
- Teams include U14 and U12 A & B for both Boys and Girls, and U10 A for boys
- Consists of 8 teams in the Marin, San Francisco, and South Bay
TOWN BASED LEAGUE & PLAYING OUT OF DISTRICT
The WBLL & Marin Leagues adhere to clear “town based” geographical boundary requirement for which Club players can join. The goal of these policies is to focus on growing the sport, fostering a healthy environment focused on development, and to ensure competitive balance. The goal is also to mitigate recruiting and “team stacking”. All clubs within the WBLL and Marin League are non-profit organizations that intend to serve their local communities. San Rafael Lacrosse Club is fully supportive of this initiative.
- San Rafael Lacrosse Club serves the 94901 & 94903 counties
- If you DO NOT reside in these zip codes, we ask that you join your local club instead
- There are some exceptions:
- Special Circumstances will be considered and include: if a player goes to school outside of the home region, bullying, multiple residence's due to split family situation, divisional team not offered at "home club", etc.
- Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions regarding playing out-of-territory
Evaluations will be held in mid-to-late January and are mandatory for A TEAM PLACEMENT ONLY for: Boys: U14 and U10 and for Girls: U14 and U12. If players do not wish to try out for an A Team, there is no need for an evaluation.
NO PLAYERS WILL BE CUT – registrants are guaranteed to be placed on a team.
A Teams will be competing in the WBLL for select age/gender groups depending on the depth and experience of players who register. For certain age groups, we may determine to field TWO “B” league teams. Evaluations will help us to make sure players are competing in the most optimal and balanced environment possible.
